The Annapurna Region in central Nepal is a well-known trekking destination with spectacular natural beauty, various landscapes, and rich cultural experiences.

The Annapurna Conservation Area, Nepal’s largest protected area, is also in the region. This protected area has a variety of ecosystems, such as alpine meadows, subtropical woods, and dry landscapes.
