Annapurna Circuit Trek – 10 Days Brief Insight

The Annapurna Circuit Express Trek is a 10-day tea house trekking journey tailored to your needs. It is best suited for trekkers looking for a short trekking adventure at a low cost and in a short amount of time. The route is set up in such a way that hikers can safely complete the Annapurna circuit in a short amount of time.

During our Annapurna circuit hike in the best season, spring and autumn, we enjoy the spectacular mountain views from Poon Hill and learn about the diverse region. In addition, the Annapurna Circuit Trek brings us to Manang, Jomsom, and Muktinath, allowing us to experience the rich Nepalese environment and culture.

We begin our trek from Kathmandu. We drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m / 2492ft) west of the Kathmandu Valley on the first day. From Besisahar (760m / 2492ft) we will head to Chame (2,710m / 8,890ft) to Pisang (3,115m / 10,200ft) to Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft).

Further more we beging our trek from Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft) through Yak Kharka (4,050m / 14,275ft) to Ledar (4,200m / 13,779ft ) to Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft).

Similarly, we will trek from Thorong Phedi (4,525m/14,525ft) to Muktinath Temple (3,760m/12,623 ft) via Thorong La High Pass (5,416 m/17,756 ft). Muktinath Temple (Chumig Gyatsa) represents the religious harmony between Hindus and Buddhists.

Now from Muktinath (3,760m/12,623 ft), we will head to Jomsom (2,720m) and then to Tatopani (1200m/3,940ft). Tatopani is a Nepalese village in the Himalayas at 2600 meters, close to the Tibetan border.

On the Ninth day we will drive from Tatopani (1200m / 3,940ft) to Pokhara (850m / 2788ft). Pokhara is Nepal’s second-most-visited city and one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. And from Pokhara, we will return to Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,450ft). All the above states how our Annapurna Base Camp Short trek begins and ends.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m / 2492ft) west of the Kathmandu Valley.

Today you will go to Besisahar from Kathmandu. It takes roughly 6 hours to travel from Kathmandu. The public vehicle will make a few quick stops along the way. Unlike the tourist bus, a complimentary mineral water bottle is not included in the ticket price. Despite the road’s poor condition, you will get the opportunity to observe the Nepalese countryside and paddy fields.

From Besisahar, we’ll go to Chame today. We begin our journey through the woods following breakfast, passing past pine, fir, oak, and maple trees as we follow the rustling Marsyangdi river to Chame. We can now see the gleaming view of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, throughout the trek. We’ll also stop at a little hot spring for a break—as an en-route meal.

Day 03: Trek from Chame (2,710m / 8,890ft) to Pisang (3,115m / 10,200ft)

Today we’ll climb across a narrow and steep valley to Paungada Danda, a gigantic rock face adored by the locals. The pure glittering vistas of Annapurna II to the south and Pisang Peak to the northeast may be seen from there. Then we make our way to the Manang Valley.

Day 04: Trek from Pisang (3,115m / 10,200ft) to Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft)

Today our destionation will be Manang. After the early morning breakfast, we will head to Manang from Pisang. We’ll take the upper trail to Manang via the upper Pisang. Annapurna II, III, IV, Tilicho, Gangapurna, and Pisang Peak can all be seen from Nawal. We’ll also visit a Tibetan village and tour Barge Monastery, Manang’s largest monastery, including Buddhist shrines and other monasteries.

Day 05: Trek from Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft) through Yak Kharka (4,050m / 14,275ft) to Ledar (4,200m / 13,779ft )

Today our destination will be Yak Kharka. We will begin our trek from Manang, head to Yak Kharka, and head towards Ledar.

As we go northwest out of Marshyangdi valley, we will pass a creek and soar up to Tenki settlement. Then we make our way to the north. We’ll pass through a few fields and juniper trees before arriving in Gunsan, a little town with smooth mud roofed buildings. After crossing a little river on a plank bridge, we arrive in Yak Kharka, a lovely valley.

From the Yak Kharka, we will move towards the Ledar. Cedar is the final digestion for today. While trekking, you will realize that the trekking from Yak Kharka to ledar is relatively more accessible than the route of Manang to Yak Kharka.

Day 06: Trek from Ledar (4,200m / 13,779ft) to Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft)

Breakfast is served quickly in the morning. On this day, we’ll go to Thorong Phedi, the base of the Thorong La Pass. During the trial, you will eat your Lunch. Today’s trial is one of the more difficult sections of the entire trip. We’ll have to face this challenge and push through icy air and rocky high-altitude pathways, but the views from the pass will be well worth it. After taking in the sights from the Thorong La Pass the next day, we descend to Muktinath.

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, we will travel to the world’s highest pass, the Thorong La Pass (5,416m).
