Our Annapurna Circuit Trek -14 Days Itinerary has been carefully designed to be a high altitude sickness-friendly trek, allowing us to take a few extra days for acclimatization during the tour.
Because the Annapurna Trek takes you to altitudes near the world’s highest peaks, your body will require adequate glucose, protein, and sustenance. While you will be provided with healthful food throughout the walk, you may not have access to all of the alternatives offered in larger cities. The 14 days Annapurna Circuit trek begins from Kathmandu. Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule (845m / 2,815ft) west of the Kathmandu and trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat to Dharapani to Chame to Pisang to Manang.
Today will be acclimatization day at Manang (3,519m / 11,545ft) for the first time during the Annapurna Circuit trek for 14 days. Manang is a Nepalese district located in the country’s northwestern region. Gorkha, Kaski, Lamjung, and Mustang communities all share a border with Manang. In the north, it is bordered by Tibet.
The elevation in this area exceeds 1830 meters. Manang is 2170 square kilometres in size. Mountain ranges such as Mt. Peru, Manaslu, Muktinath, and others surround the Manang district. Three eco zones exist in the Manang district.
Again begin your trek from Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft) to Yak Kharka (4,050m / 14,275ft) to Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft) to Muktinath Temple (3,760m / 12,623ft) via Thorong La High Pass (5,416m / 17,756ft). Again drive from Muktinath (3,760m / 12,623ft) to Jomsom and Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft).
Trek from Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft) to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft). From Ghorepani begin an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,525ft) – then trek to Birethanti (1,039m / 3,250ft) – Drive to Nayapul, Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,450ft). this is the entire route that you are going to follow during the Annapurna Circuit Trek 14 days.

On the first day of Annapurna Circuit Trek, 14 days, you will begin your trek from Kathmandu. Your exciting adventure from Kathmandu will lead to Bhulbhule begins today. You drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the Trishuli River. From here, go north to Besisahar, then south to Bhulbhule. Stunning views of a lush green slope, snow-capped mountains, colourful terraced farms, and tiny settlements may be seen along the journey. You will append your night at Bhulbhule enjoying the environment.

On the second day of your journey to Annapurna Circuit Trek, You will hike through lush forest and terraced farmland while following a lovely trail. The trail follows the Marsyangdi River and then travels through several tiny settlements before Jagat. After coming to Jagat, you will complete your journey for today.

Begin your journey early in the morning. Walk along the undulating terrain, which occasionally climbs and occasionally descends. It would help to cross grassy fields and along a rocky trail while crossing some suspension bridges.
After a short distance, you will arrive in Manang district’s gorgeous valley. You may see the agricultural methods of people living in the Himalayan highlands along the way. Despite the low productivity of the land, we discover barley, potatoes, corns, and cattle sheds that are acceptable for the high altitude. We leave Dharapani and go down the Marsyangdi River, passing through woods of pine, fir, oak, and maple trees, to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang district.
Due to geological complications and the creation of a road to Manang Mustang, the trail traverses along steep hills where we can view several landslides.
You may witness Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV up close and personal on the route. Around the Dudh Khola and the Marshyangdi River, several natural and magnificent waterfalls make you forget about the challenges you endured on your journey.

We’ll hike through the older section of Chame and up to Telekhu, which is at 2840 meters, before continuing on a long, mainly level walk through the forest to Breathing, which is 2950 meters. Following a bend in the route, we’ll get our first glimpse of the stunning Paungda Danda rock face, a massive curved slab of granite towering more than 1500 meters above the river. After that, the trip will be reasonably level as it heads to Pisang in the upper Manang valley.

We’re on our way to Manang. Our journey will gradually ascend to Bryaga, a Tibetan-style town at 3500 meters following the valley bottom. Houses will be placed one upon the other at Bryaga, each with an open veranda formed by a neighbour’s rooftop. The gompa, built on a cliff above the hamlet, is the district’s most prominent and features many statues.

We spent this day exploring Manang, hiking up to Gangapurna Lake and Base Camp early in the morning, admiring Annapurna III, Tilicho, Pisang, and Chulu Peaks roaming through Manang Village and Monasteries.
Manang village’s surroundings are breathtaking. We can also see more of the adjacent mountains and the Gangapurna glacier because we are higher. We take a seat and soak in the sights for a bit. However, due to the strong winds, we cautiously navigate our way back down the mountainside.

We’ll be leaving the road and ascending to a much higher height. On the eighth day, we’ll go from Manang to Gunsang, then from Gunsang to Yak Kharka. The hike from Manang to Yak Kharka is 10 kilometres long and takes 5 hours to complete, with a 510-meter height gain.
We’ll travel from Manang to Ghunsang and then from Ghunsang to Yak Kharka on today’s itinerary. By the end of the day, we’d climbed to 4100m from 3540m. We also went on a short acclimatization hike to Ledar, located at 4200 meters.

After leaving Yak Kharka, you’ll ascend to a ridge before descending to the Marsyangdi’s headwaters and crossing the river on a covered wooden bridge. Following a narrow footpath across an unstable rocky slope and then falling to Thorung Phedi after a short hike up the mountain path on the right bank.

On the tenth day of the trek to Annapurna Circuit Trek 14 days. We will begin our tour from Thoramg Phedi to Muktinath Temple via Thorang La High Pass.
We cross at the height of 5416m; therefore, we may be exposed to strong winds if we travel too late. For hundreds of years, locals have utilized this trail to transport sheep and yaks into and out of Manang. As a result, the track is well-defined and easy to follow, even though it is often steep.
We will get spectacular views from the Thorung La pass, which features traditional prayer flags and a stone cairn. The Annapunas, Gangapurna, and Khatung Kang, a highly glaciated summit, may all be seen.
We’ll traverse green fields and cross meadows to reach Muktinath, which means “place of Nirvana” and is home to the Muktinath temple as well as other monasteries, as the trail becomes less steep. It is stated that visiting the Temple, which is a sacred pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Buddhists, will alleviate you of all your sorrows.

Bye-bye, arduous hiking days! It’s over, and the trails are now completely flat. As we travel along the Kaligandaki River to Jomsom, the trekking route begins to descend to the Ekle Bhatti and then smooths out. In contrast to everything we’ve seen so far on this hike, Jomsom is a lively town. The capital of the Manang district is Jomsom.
From barren altitudes to lush green forests, we’ll be traveling. Tatopani is known for its natural hot springs, and it is here that we can relax by immersing ourselves in them. Tatopani’s waters are claimed to have anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal qualities.

We leave the hot springs behind and hike to Ghorepani via the ethnic Thakali settlements of Sikha and Chitre on the east bank of the Kali Gandaki River. Our journey takes us past magnificent forests of rhododendron, birch, and magnolia, as well as terraced farmlands with mountains all around. We’ll spend the night in Ghorepani, a lovely town perched above a ridge.

We climb to Poon Hill (3,210m) for a dawn panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs, including Mt Machhapuchhre. We will walk to Birethanti after breakfast and then head to Pokhara.

After breakfast in Pokhara, we will fly back to Kathmandu.
