This Everest base camp short trek to the world-famous Everest region combines natural beauty, intriguing cultural experiences, and an overpowering sense of personal achievement with the warmest touch of Nepalese friendliness. The Everest Base Camp Short trek begins from Kathmandu. We’ll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla for a scenic trip, then climb Phakding. We’ll then travel to Namche Bazar from Phakding. We will have an acclimatization day in Namche Bazar for the first time. We will travel from Namche Bazar to Tengboche and finally to Dingboche.
After that, we’ll travel to Lobuche and then to Everest Base Camp from Dingboche. We will return to Gorak Shep from the Everest Base Camp and then continue our journey to Kala Patthar.
Kala Pattar (5545m/18187 ft), one of the Everest base camp hiking highlights, offers a superb panoramic picture of Mount Everest surrounded by neighboring mountains.
We will return to Gorak Shep and travel to Pheriche (4,250m / 13,945ft) to Namche Bazaar after finishing our hike to Kala Patthar (5,555m / 18,208ft) viewpoint. Before returning to Kathmandu, we will get another opportunity to visit Namche Bazar. We will then hike from Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,285ft) to Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft) and fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft) from Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft). Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (25 to 30 minutes) early in the morning, then complete final trek preparations. You’ll travel through Phakhding from Lukla. The trail follows the Dudh Kosi River’s bank. This first-day walk is only 3 to 4 hours long to aid acclimatization. On the second day of Everest Base Camp short Trek, we travel to Namche Bazaar, the largest settlement in the Khumbu region. We will be trekking towards Monjo through the Sagarmatha National Park. Flow up the Dudhkoshi River, over the Namche’s highest double-substance bridge at the bottom. On the way to Namche, we have the opportunity to glimpse Mt. Everest.

As you go closer to Everest, more lovely things will appear in your path. That is something you will notice as soon as you leave Namche after breakfast. After breakfast, the trail climbs sharply into the hill above Dingboche. The trail ascends directly from Duglha to the Dugla/Thukla Pass (4,830m), which offers a breathtaking view of the mountains and several stone memorials to those who gave their lives during the Everest expedition, where the Khumbu Glacier comes to a halt. After crossing the stream, the trail follows the right bank of the river until it reaches Lobuche village (4,910m).

We’ve arrived at the most important day of the journey. You’ll get up early because you have a long journey ahead of you. Finally, the entire Short Trek to Everest Base Camp is ending. After checking out of the lodge and eating a substantial breakfast, you’ll make your journey down to Lukla. You cross suspension bridges and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi River as you return to the steep and rocky paths. As a result, you’ll have to climb a challenging hill to get to Lukla.
