Frequently Asked Questions

Do the travelers require the previous Trekking experience for the Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing?
Because this trip involves a lengthier trek/climb, an excellent physical level is required to participate in the Everest Base Camp with the Island Peak Climbing. Despite the fact that previous high-altitude trekking expertise is required, our well-prepared course allows learners to enroll even if they have no prior experience. Before traveling to the Island peak, we'll climb to Everest base camp at 5364 meters and then to Kalapathar 5545 for acclimatization. We'll then proceed to Island Peak for the ascent. In the base camp, there will also be a climbing course where your guide will instruct you on how to utilize the equipment.
Is it necessary to have visas for foreign travelers?
Yes. A visa can be obtained on arrival at Kathmandu airport or border entry points for most nationalities, or it can be secured in advance through Nepalese embassies or consulates overseas. Make sure you have the necessary USD amount in cash for your visa application when you arrive, and photographs can be taken at the airport's kiosk machine. A 40-day visa costs $40, while a 90-day visa costs $100. Please double-check that your passport is valid for at least six months.
What is the best time for Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing?
The optimum periods to climb Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing are in the fall (from October to November) and spring (from March to May) (from March to May). Temperatures will drop substantially as you climb higher each day. The nights are cool (between 5 and -5 degrees Celsius), while the days are bright and pleasant (between 10C to 20C). The mornings are normally clear, with clouds forming in the afternoon and then dissipating at night. Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing are not suggested during the monsoon and winter seasons due to poor visibility and limited access, as well as the risk of snow on upper regions and high passes.
What kind of Accommodation will be available during the Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing?
We stop for lunch along the trail of Everest Base Camp with Island Peak Climbing at tea houses. They serve either local food (dal that - lentil curry) or a variety of western cuisine. We sleep in a local lodge or guest house at night, and the higher we go, the more primitive the accommodations get. Here's an example of the type of lodge where we stay. Showers are provided up to Namche Bazaar, however, a hot shower will cost you extra. We usually have a three-course dinner, which can be a mix of local and western cuisine — you will not go hungry on this trip.
