The trek starts from Nayapul and darts to Ghorepani. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft), Tribhuvan International Airport

At the Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport agent will be waiting for you. He will welcome and transport you to the hotel. You can finish the check-in formalities, freshen up, and settle into your hotel room.

You can explore the streets if you want to. There are popular local markets such as Ason and Thamel, which offer you local Nepalese products such as showpieces, hemp bags, and made products at reasonable prices. Exploring these markets is quite a treat to your eyes. You will also get stalls of spicy street foods in Ason. You can explore some other shops offering clothes and gifts.

You will enjoy the traditional Nepali welcome dinner with our team. Our team helps or assists you and makes you informed about the trek and schedules.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Exploration and trek preparation day

The day features the exploration of some UNESCO enlisted heritage sites such as Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar square.

The artistic beauty of these heritages is awe-inspiring.

We will also engage in last-minute trek preparation, where you can take the trekking gears off the purchase list. Our guide will help you buy them. If you enjoy partying clubbing, there are many options available at Thamel. We will spend our night at a three-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara city (820m / 2,690ft)

Pokhara is among the most beautiful places in the sacred land of Nepal. Visitors prefer to visit Pokhara and enjoy some of its attractions.

After breakfast, we will take a 6-7 hour picturesque journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The first half of the overland drive provides vistas of the Trishuli River, followed by breathtaking mountain views. This excursion is further enhanced by the villages, terraced fields, communities, and woodlands.

When we reach Pokhara, we will finish our check-in processes and relax a bit in our hotel rooms. After lunch, we can have a stroll along Pokhara’s pristine roads leading to Phewa Lake. The lake is well-known since it is Pokhara’s largest lake, reflecting the majestic Machhapuchhre peak and others from the Annapurna Range. It also has religious significance because the Tal Barahi shrine still stands on the lake’s island.

 

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul /Birethanti /Tikhedhunga (1,570m). Trek to Ulleri (1,540m / 5,050ft)

The Annapurna Base Camp trek originally starts from Nayapul.  So, following an early breakfast in Pokhara, we’ll take a one-and-a-half-hour journey to Nayapul. We will then walk to Tikhledunga via the Annapurna Conservation Area.


The varied species of flora and fauna with a green forestry view will be a real treat to our eyes. We will go through a big forest and cross the Burundi Khola River to reach the Tikhedhunga hamlet. The Burundi Khola to the left and terraced farmlands will accompany us. After having lunch in Tikhedhunga, we’ll make our way to the 3400-step Ulleri. The trek to Ulleri will put your endurance to the test. We’ll arrive at Ulleri in the afternoon and spend the night there.

 

Day 05: Trek from Ulleri (1,540m / 5,050ft) to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft)

After breakfast, we’ll start on our journey. As we ascend to Ghorepani, you will frequently see the magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna South. Before arriving at Ghorepani, we will pass by lovely waterfalls and little villages inhabited by Magar people. The trail then ascends through beautiful oak and rhododendron woodlands. We will halt at higher Ghorepani, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Annapurna South and Nilgiri. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 06: Early morning hike to Poon Hill viewpoint (3,210m / 10,525ft), then trek to Tadapani (2,630m / 8,630ft)

We will begin our hour-long journey to Poon Hill early in the morning. Poonhill stands at the height of 3,210meters featuring spectacular mountain vistas; this vantage point provides an eye-catching vista of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, and peaks like Fishtail and Hiunchuli.

 You’ll be overwhelmed to see the first rays of the sun striking the shimmery mountains. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery by sipping a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. We will get back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue our climb through the rhododendron and oak forest to Tadapani. The waterfalls amidst the trail will stop us—overnight in Tadapani.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani (2,630m / 8,630ft) to Chomrong (2,165m / 7,105ft)

The day features a downhill walk through rhododendron forests and terraced fields. You will be flabbergasted to discover the utmost beauty that lies in the nook and corner of this mighty land.

When the jungle ends, the trail opens up to beautiful terraced fields. We’ll arrive in Gurjung after passing through the waterfall and suspension bridges ( Gurjung is a beautiful Gurung village). Then we’ll head towards the mountain town, i.e., Chhomromg Village. Overnight there.

Day 08: Trek from Chomrong (2,165m / 7,105ft) to Dovan (2,600m / 8530ft).

The day awaits an adventure. We will climb a 1-hour hard step to reach an Annapurna Conservation Area Project checkpoint. Be easy on yourself because you have you climb another hour uphill to Sinuwa. The amazing view of Fishtail mountain welcomes us before we head to the Rhododendron forest. We will pass by beautiful green forests, streams, terraced lands to reach Dovan. We will spend our night there.

Day 09: Trek from Dovan (2,600m/ 8530 ft) to Deurali (3200m/ 10498ft)

Be calm and patient! The altitude now rises as we approach Annapurna Base Camp. The walk will be slow but interesting. The rhododendron and bamboo forests add beauty to the trail. We head towards Deurali with a slow pace and calm mind. The trek surely is a spiritual meditation that rejuvenates your soul.

We can also pay a visit to the Hinku cave that is located in between the trail.

Day 10: Trek from Deurali (3200m / 10498ft) to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,550ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

Finally, we are a step ahead of our destination. Yes, Annapurna Base Camp, it is! Charge your battery fully because you will have a clearer image of the mighty mountains and nature on your head, but pictures are what will remind you about the trek for your life.

The altitude rises over 4000 meters. We will walk via Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach the Annapurna Base Camp. We will reach the Annapurna Base camp by the sunset to bless our eyes with the jaw-dropping view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and many others. Trust me, and the feeling is surreal.

Before that, we will enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna from Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You will surely feel blessed to be a part of this beautiful nature.

We will dart to Annapurna Base camp and enjoy the sunset. Overnight.

Day 11: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,550ft) to Sinuwa (2,350m / 7,700ft)

With the rising sun, we will witness the shimmery silver mountains turn golden. The 360-degree vista of Annapurna, Fishtail, and Machhapuchhre mountains will leave us amazed. We will capture the beautiful view in our mind, have our breakfast in front of the mighty snow peaks and walk down to Sinuwa.

Day 12: Trek from Sinuwa (2,350m / 7,700ft) to Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft) and nearby natural hot springs

We will rest our weary muscles in the hot springs of Jhinu Danda today. After breakfast, we will walk down through bamboo. The trail and the hike can get a little strenuous. But, the 15/20 minutes down from Jhinu danda rewards us with the most natural hot springs.

It is like a spa in the lap of nature. It cleanses your soul and body. We will stay overnight in a teahouse enjoying the beauty of nature.

Day 13: Trek from Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft) to Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi (1,150m / 3,770ft) and drive to Pokhara (820m) via Nayapul

We will get back to the city of seven lakes today. Pokhara, it is! We will drive back to Pokhara through Nayapul.

The trek from Jhinu Danda to Siwa/ Ghandruk village features a small stone staircase and zigzag uphill. The ups and downs of the trail take us through the dense rhododendron forest. We will reach Ghandruk village and enjoy the welcome dinner by the Gurung community there. The Gurung community of Ghandruk village is the epitome of rural life, authentic Nepali food, unspoiled and preserved Nepali Gurung culture.

We will then dart to Pokhara via Nayapul, where we will take a rest in the hotel.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus

We will have a huge celebration of our trek in Kathmandu with live music and a traditional Nepali dinner as a farewell to you.

Day 15: Final Departure 

Today is the last day. Our representative will transport you to the airport for your flight. You will always remember the overwhelming pride you felt while climbing the Annapurna region. Then we bid you farewell, hoping to meet and serve you again in the future.
