Their all inclusive service was fantastic, including pick-up and drop-off to/from the airport as well as hotel stays pre and post trek. Contact with the company owner Anil was very easy and he was incredibly forthcoming with any changes that needed to be made with our plans. Special mention has to be made for our guide Jit Bahadur Gurung. He was clearly a very capable trekker in his own right and throughout the trip he provided a first class service, catering for our needs and making sure we had whatever we required for a safe trip in the Himalayas. I cannot stress his kind and hospitable manner enough, throughout the trek he was eager to explain the sights that we were seeing and he had a fantastic memory of the mountains around us, satisfying our limitless curiosity. In addition he was also fantastic company, together with him and another Glorious Ecotrek guide (Indira Gurung) we spent most nights playing Nepalese card games in the lodges en route. The kind welcome, hospitality, and the attention to safety + comfort made us very happy with the decision to book with Glorious Ecotrek. I would heavily recommend using the company and definitely suggest speaking to the owner Anil about any requirements you may have prior to booking, as experience has shown him to be very receptive.

Had the most amazing experience trekking the Himalayas with GloriousEcoTrek. The views were utterly spectacular - every moment of the trek could've been a picture to hang up on the... read more wall. We went in early March, just before peak season, which was perfect for us. Not too busy and weather was beautiful. However, we did also experience heavy snowfall for a few days, which only made the journey more magical. The weather on the day of EBC and Kalar Pathar was flawless. Blue skies and not a single cloud. Our guide Jit Gurung was one of the most helpful, supportive and friendly people I've met - I could not recommend him enough. And don't forget, our porter Sujit, who despite his young age was super helpful, always smiling, and strong enough to carry 20+Kg up and down the mountains! Thanks so much to Anil for organising everything. From arriving in KTM, transport to hotel, flight to Lukla and finally back to KTM post-trek - everything was all seamless and we encountered zero issues throughout. Anil was fast and responsive to any queries I had and an all round great guy. Overall, 5/5 rating for GloriousEcoTrek.

When the time came for me to book the trip, I did not hesitate to do so with them. They have provided me with excellent service and attention since my arrival in Nepal. My guide, Samir, was extremely professional during my trek to Everest base camp. He was constantly concerned about me. There were times when I thought I wouldn't make it, but his encouragement gave me the courage to keep going. Without him, I couldn't have done it!

Everyone who helped us was amazing! Spectacular service, attention to detail, patience and friendliness. I went with my father on the trek and had the privilege of having Kalyan as our guide. He was super friendly and caring. Always looked out for us and our best interest and just made sure our whole trekking experience was amazing. Our porter also went above and beyond, making sure all our needs were met and even did the optional trips with us. We were so lucky to have these two take us through the trek. Our experience was the best!

I’ve just finished the Annapurna Circuit with Glorious Eco Trek Nepal and it has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Right from the beginning I felt supported... read more in every way. Every question that I had beforehand was answered immediately by Anil and his colleagues so I could start my adventure with no worries at all. And it was an adventure that I will never forget. Together with my guide Kalyan Gurung (@gurung_kalyan) I managed to get up to 5.416m. I always felt safe so I never had to worry about anything. Whenever I had a problem, he solved it in no time. Kalyan is a very experienced trekking guide. As we walked he could tell me the name of every mountain and it’s altitude straight away, he explained a lot about the landscape, the people and the culture and was always aware of any risks or difficulties along the way. He always made sure that I got the best room and the best food in the place. We also had a few good laughs and and he taught me a lot of things, for example why garlic soup and ginger tea is the best for you in a high altitude or why walking very slowly while going up is so important.
