Kailash Mansarovar Overland Tour – 13 Days Brief Insight

Mount Kailash, which stands at an elevation of 22,000 feet, is revered as Lord Shiva’s residence. Hundreds of pilgrims make the perilous journey to Mansarovar each year to seek the Lord’s blessings and take a bath in Mansarovar Lake’s hallowed.

Kailash is the home of the Buddha Demchok, who represents the most incredible bliss in Tibetan Buddhism. Kailash, also known as Mount Ashtapada in Jainism, is the spot where Rishabhadeva, the founder of the faith, obtained rebirth less liberation.

Kailash Mountain is thought to be the home of the sky goddess in Bon. Aside from that, the location is well-known for other trips to experience Tibet’s isolated regions, natural wonders, and civilizations.

The Kailash Mansarovar Overland Tour package has been meticulously planned to provide you with adequate acclimatization and exploring time to get the most out of your trip.

We’ll look at the many lonely communities, nomad tents, and flocks of sheep, mountain goats, and yaks roaming freely. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a lonely and isolated area where the materialistic world seems long away.

The majestic Mount Kailash’s south face appears at the first prostration point near Lake Mansarovar. Pilgrims who visit Kailash receive unique darshan and do specific chants. Next, the trail passes the famed Tarboche Flagpole and reaches the magnificent glacial Lha Chu valley, which has a flat, gravelly floor receding between large, sculpted red towers, shattered crags, and massive screed slopes.

The 13 days Kailash Mansarovar overland tour begins from Kathmandu. Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung border, to Saga or New Dongba to Mansarovar.

Drive from Mansarovar Lake to Darchen and start the Kailash trek; Day one, Trek to Dirapuk and begin Kailash trek Day two, Trek to Zutul Puk.

Finally, Trek last day – trek to the end of the valley and drive back to Saga. After that, drive back from Saga to Kerung to Kathmandu (1350m). Therefore, we will follow the entire route during the Kailash Mansarovar overland tour with Glorious.
