Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best season to visit the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek?
The ideal seasons for the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek are autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May). The weather is sunny and mild throughout this year, with spectacular views. One of the most popular and best-selling trekking packages in Nepal is the Annapurna hiking trail. Trekking Nepal in the spring entails the same risks and rewards as any other springtime activity: beautiful blooming flowers and pleasant temperatures, but also the chance of a chilly day early on. Autumn is considered the best trekking and hiking season in Nepal. While there may be occasional chilly afternoons in the spring, once the monsoon season has passed, you can almost always count on sunshine and clear skies all day.
What kind of difficulties might the travellers face during the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek?
Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is one of the exciting treks in Nepal. However, considering the difficulties, there will be some difficulties that the travellers might face during the trek. You must hike for seven hours through extraordinarily steep and hazardous terrain. Bad weather is a common cause of flight delays. In Poon Hill, teahouses and their facilities are very poor. During the winter, most high-altitude teahouses are closed. At high altitudes, a bone-chilling snowy hymn might cause you problems. You must purchase tickets in advance during peak season, and ticket prices are expected to skyrocket.
Does the company provide travel insurance?
No, the company does not provide travel insurance to tourists. We recommend purchasing insurance to cover your liability, accidents, and diseases while serving. Depending on the activity, you may be required to present proof of insurance for assistance, sanitation, and search. In Nepal, this service is private and not free; the helicopter will not take off until the insurance is paid.
What are the criteria for the Trekking Permits?
Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) and the Annapurna National Park Permit is necessary. Your hiking permits are handled through HSJ. Bring at least four passport photos with you for your trekking permit!
What type of accommodation facilities will be available during the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek?
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, like most Nepalese treks, is a teahouse trek. Tea houses typically provide a single room with twin beds. You can charge your phones at a reduced rate in the standard room. In most teahouses, a hot shower costs roughly one dollar. Furthermore, the teahouse meals are simple, with the Nepalese "Dal Bhat" meal being served in most teahouses.
