Annapurna Circuit Trek With Tilicho Lake – 16 Days Brief Insight

The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking routes, taking visitors to the picturesque Tilicho Lake, located at the world’s highest altitude. The Annapurna Circuit Trek With the Tilicho Lake trail starts in the lower subtropical regions. It quickly changes as it ascends to higher heights, when the environment becomes arid and harsh, with little flora. Because of its altitude, Manang, for example, has a cooler, drier climate.

Anyone wanting to try something new, from 10 years old to 75 years old, can participate in this walk. You must, however, be physically and intellectually fit.

The 16-day Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake is a classic trek in the Annapurna region that allows you to explore the mighty Annapurna massif on a comfortable trekking itinerary. This itinerary has been designed to be high altitude friendly, with a day of acclimatization included during the trek in the higher altitude area.

Annapurna Circuit Via Tilicho Lake is one of the many excellent trekking adventures in the Annapurna region, offering a hiking exploration of the Annapurna circuit walking track with a short diversion to Lake Tilicho. On the way to Lake Tilicho, you’ll journey through harsh hilly terrain before crossing the Thorong La pass. This extended version of the Around the Annapurna Trek will undoubtedly provide you with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the lake.

Previous hiking or trekking experience is a plus, but any form of trekking experience is always a plus! The only challenging aspect is when altitude sickness occurs and its effects on your health.

You’ll be walking through thick forests and along mountain ridges. Along the trail, Apple orchards, verdant meadows, and charming tiny passageways may all be found. The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek leads you deeper into the Kali Gandaki Valley, the world’s deepest gorge, and to Muktinath Temple, one of Hinduism’s holiest shrines (3,750 m).

The Annapurna Circuit trek with Tilicho Lake begins from Kathmandu. Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m / 2492ft) to Jagat (1,300m / 4,265ft). Trek from Jagat (1,300 m / 4,265ft) to Dharapani (1,860m / 6,200ft) to Chame (2,610m / 8,890ft) to Pisang (3,115m / 10,200ft) to Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft) to Siri Kharka (4,060m / 13,320ft) to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m / 13,583ft) to Siri Kharka (4,060m / 13,320ft) to Yak Kharka (4,060m / 13,020ft) to Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft) to Muktinath Temple (3,760m / 12,623ft) via Thorong La High Pass (5,416m / 17,756ft) to Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft) to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft).

From Ghorepani begin the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,525ft), trek to Birethanti (1,039m / 3,250ft)- then drive to Pokhara via Nayapul and again drive from Pokhara (820m / 2,690ft ) to Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,450ft).
